Job summary

JT Recruit is seeking a Mechanic/Technician for our transport operations team in Croft. You will service, repair and maintain light and heavy vehicles and plant equipment to keep fleets safe and roadworthy.

You will diagnose faults, perform inspections and MOT testing, keep accurate records, and follow health and safety procedures. The role involves mentoring apprentices and supporting workshop efficiency.

Experience in a workshop or garage and a Full UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled Mechanic/Technician to join my clients Transport Operations team. You’ll help keep our fleet of vehicles and plant equipment safe, roadworthy, and running efficiently.

This is a hands‑on role where no two days are the same—from diagnosing faults to carrying out repairs and servicing a wide range of vehicles.

What You’ll Be Doing
