Job summary

SAGA Truck & Van in the United Kingdom is seeking a technician to service and repair vehicles to Mercedes-Benz standards. The role focuses on diagnosing faults with minimal supervision, with 44 hours per week across night shifts (Tuesday–Friday, 7:30pm–7:00am) including a 30-minute unpaid break.

• Complete job cards clearly and accurately
• You must be capable of following the repair process from fault analysis to completion
• Repairing and replacing parts

Job Overview:

To service and repair vehicles in a safe and economical manner employing such skills and knowledge as may be required, including the ability to diagnose fault with the minimum supervision.

To service, adjust and repair vehicles or components using the tools and equipment provided in safe and proper way, efficiently and within the allocated time and to the required standard.

Working hours:

44 hours per week, Tuesday - Friday 7:30pm - 7:00am, inclusive of a 30-minute unpaid break

Salary:

£20/ hour incl. night shift allowance (could go up to £22/ hour for the right candidate with diagnostics qualification and experience) + bonus
