Job summary

Holcim Ltd is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver for our RMX operations in Coventry. You will operate a concrete mixer truck, predominantly from the Whetstone plant, with occasional regional travel. Maintain vehicle presentation and fuel efficiency while delivering a reliable service to customers.

Role requires flexibility for weekend and night work; prior HGV licence and CPC are desirable, MPQC is a plus. Equal opportunity employer committed to diversity.

The Opportunity

We have a new vacancy for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our expanding logistics team based out of our RMX plant in Whetstone Leicester. Responsible for the day-to-day operation of a concrete mixer truck, this role is based predominantly in Whetstone RMX plant but on occasions will require operation at other plants within the region. To drive any vehicle of the company’s fleet which has been assigned and a current licence is held. To uphold the high standard of image, presentation, and delivery service for which the company is known and to strive to improve fuel efficiencies and reduce cost minimisation.

• Flexible approach to hours as this role will require some weekend and potentially night working
• Knowledge of AI Policies and procedures an advantage
• Knowledge of concrete desired but not essential
• Customer focused with good communication skills
• Previous HGV licence and CPC card is desirable
• MPQC is preferred
