Job summary

Holcim is looking for a dedicated HGV Mixer Driver to join our South East regional operations. The role involves day‑to‑day operation of a concrete mixer truck with deliveries across the South East region, based primarily from our Faringdon Ready‑Mix depot. Training will be provided to support career development.

You’ll be a safety‑minded driver with IT literacy, capable of using our systems to track deliveries and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.

Qualifications

• Safe driving with a valid Category C licence.
• Good knowledge of the South West region.
• Strong safety awareness and a proactive approach to driving.
• IT literate; able to learn and use company IT systems to track deliveries.
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck as part of daily deliveries.
• Deliver across the South East region from the Ready-Mix depot, with regional coverage as required.
• Safely operate at the Faringdon depot and other plants when needed; comply with all safety procedures.

The Opportunity

Looking to take your HGV driving career to the next level? Whether you’re an experienced Class 2 Mixer Driver or new to the field, we’ll fully support your development and help you transition from HGV to Mixer driving with full training provided!

We’re on the lookout for a dedicated and safety-focussed HGV Mixer Driver to join our team, regionally based, you’ll be delivering across the South East region.

Responsible for the day to day operation of a concrete mixer truck based predominantly in Faringdon at our Ready-Mix depot but on occasions will be required to operate at other plants within the region.

Who You Are

• You’ll be a safe driver, with a valid Category C licence.
• You’ll have good geographical knowledge of the South West.
• You’ll have an excellent awareness of safety and input this into your driving ability.
• You’ll need to be IT literate, as you’ll spend time learning our IT systems to track your deliveries.
• You’ll have excellent communication skills, able to speak with colleagues and customers confidently.
