A1 Wokingham Wet Waste Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our commercial workshop team in the Wokingham area. You will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical defects on trucks and trailers, perform routine maintenance, and prepare vehicles for DVSA/MOT inspections.

Formación

• HGV motor vehicle technician background.
• Attained the appropriate City & Guilds, NVQ or BTEC qualifications.
• Minimum of Class 2 License (C).
• Welding and forklift experience is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical defects on all vehicles.
• Routine maintenance to DSVA standards.
• Vehicle inspections to DVSA.
• Fault finding repairs & servicing of commercial vehicles and trailers.
• MOT preparation to DVSA standards.
• Complete related paperwork and ensure statistics and legal information are updated.
• Prepare and accompany fleet vehicles and trailers for annual MOT inspections.
• Maintain safe and clean work areas.
• Develop and maintain a harmonious, effective working environment with team members.

HGV motor vehicle technician

Class 2 License (C)

Hydraulics experience

Welding experience

Forklift experience

Educación

City & Guilds / NVQ / BTEC qualifications
