Home Bargains, part of TJ Morris Limited, is seeking an experienced Heavy Goods Vehicle Maintenance Workshop Labourer in Amesbury, Wiltshire. The role involves vehicle cleaning, movement within the workshop, and supporting the maintenance unit to keep a fast-paced fleet operating efficiently.

The successful candidate will hold a C+E LGV licence, tachograph card, and DCPC, with proven ability to work under pressure and in a busy transport environment.

Qualifications

• C+E LGV driving licence, tachograph card and DCPC are required.
• Experience in a busy transport department and high-volume environment preferred.
• Able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Pressure wash vehicles.
• Collect and deliver vehicles to and from Transport Department.
• Present vehicles through annual test.
• General cleaning duties in the workshop.
• Collect parts and perform driving duties where required.
• Contribute to KPIs and continuous improvement.
• Ensure health and safety and security compliance.
• Coordinate with other operational teams for smooth operations.
