Job summary

Searchability (UK) Ltd is seeking a hands-on Workshop Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy HGV fleet workshop in Bishops Cleeve. You will lead HGV Technicians and a Workshop Supervisor, ensuring safety, compliance and high productivity while managing the R2C maintenance system.

This full-time role requires a Class 2 HGV licence, relevant qualifications, and a proactive approach to health and workshop standards; occasional travel to Bristol may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in workshop management or fleet maintenance leadership.
• Current HGV licence, minimum Class 2.
• Knowledge of LOLER inspection and compliance processes.
• Strong planning and workload management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead HGV Technicians and a Workshop Supervisor.
• Manage day-to-day operation of the fleet workshop.
• Ensure safety, compliance and productive output.
• Take ownership of the R2C fleet maintenance system.
• Promote safe systems of work across the workshop.
• Support Bristol depot when required.
