Job summary

Silcom Recruitment currently has a great opportunity based in Andover for experienced HGV & LCV Vehicle Technicians. You will service, maintain and repair on trucks and vans, following manufacturer guidelines, with opportunities for fast track training.

Roles include various shifts with an hourly rate between £14.95 and £17.95, plus a daily shift allowance and overtime at 1.4x rate. Permanent or shift-flexible options are available.

Qualifications

• Servicing and repairs on heavy vehicles including trucks and vans.
• Experience with HGV or passenger vehicle systems considered.
• Willingness to engage in fast track training and development.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on vehicles.
• Carrying out checks and maintenance per manufacturer guidelines.
• Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components.
• Advising service receptionists about required repairs.
• Producing timely estimates and maintaining service records.
