Job summary

Jago Consultants are recruiting on behalf of a leading HGV/LCV dealership near Gatwick for 2x HGV/LCV Vehicle Technicians. The roles include servicing, maintenance, MOT preparation and diagnostic fault finding, with a late shift pattern from 4pm to 1am on weekdays.

Some days/nights may be available to suit experience. You must be a fully qualified Vehicle Technician, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, with experience in vehicle diagnostics and a valid UK driving licence for the class of vehicle.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent required.
• Experience diagnosing vehicle faults and carrying out diagnostic checks.
• Valid UK driving licence for the appropriate vehicle class.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance repairs to HGV/LCV vehicles.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT and ensure compliance with warranty procedures.

Job description

Our client is a leading HGV/LCV dealership who is looking to recruit 2x HGV/LCV Technicians for their busy site.

Late shift pattern / Days and Night shifts available

Monday - Friday 4pm to 1am

Depending on experience they will consider Technicians with a passenger car background for LCV work, or experienced HGV technicians.

HGV/LCV Vehicle Technician Role:
You will be required to carry out servicing and maintenance repairs, MOT Preparation

Identify and diagnose vehicle faults using a logical and efficient method to ensure first time fix is achieved.

Communicate well with Customers, colleagues and Service Administration

Complete all necessary paper work in-line with company guidelines and manufacturer warranty procedures

HGV/LCV Vehicle Technician:
You will be a fully qualified Vehicle Technician

Qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3 of equivalent

Experienced in Vehicle Diagnostics

Appropriate driving licence for class of vehicle

LCV Technician salary up to £33,000+ Overtime depending on experience

HGV Technician salary is up to £37,000 + Overtime depending on experience
