Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Swindon is seeking a fully qualified HGV Technician to join a busy franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealer group. You will benefit from a comprehensive training programme and manufacturer accreditation, with career progression within a multi-award-winning company.

Salary is up to £42,500 per year, with overtime paid at time and a half, a 40-hour week with flexible shifts, generous annual leave, and a range of staff benefits designed to support your professional

Qualifications

• IMI/NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• 1–2 years post-qualification HGV experience.
• Active HGV licence is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong commitment to quality and efficiency in a busy workshop.
• Proficient diagnostic and repair skills for HGV.

Responsabilités

• Perform all service and maintenance tasks within manufacturer timeframes as an HGV Technician.
• Support the workshop team with diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Carry out comprehensive diagnosis and repair of vehicle malfunctions as an HGV Technician.
• Document all diagnosis, repairs and safety inspections accurately.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and health and safety regulations.
• Provide top-quality customer support, contributing to customer retention.
• Assist colleagues with technical issues and innovations in your role as an HGV Technician.
