Job summary

SAGA Truck & Van in the United Kingdom seeks a skilled technician to diagnose, service, repair and maintain Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) to high safety and quality standards. You will work across mechanical, electrical and electronic systems, collaborating with teammates to keep workshop operations efficient and customers satisfied.

Full-time, Monday to Friday with 40 hours per week; hourly rate £15–£22.50 depending on experience, plus a £15 shift allowance for late shifts and a bonus scheme up

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing, servicing and maintaining Heavy Goods Vehicles.
• Ability to perform inspections, diagnostics and repairs across mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain Heavy Goods Vehicles to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Perform inspections, routine maintenance and repairs on various truck models.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues with the team.
• Keep accurate records of work carried out and parts used.
