Job summary

The Lanes Group is seeking a skilled HGV Jetting Engineer for our Rainham Depot. The role focuses on identifying defects and blockages in the sewer network, using high-pressure water jetting to clean and clear drains, sewers, and wastewater systems.

You will work in a small team, liaising with customers and maintaining electronic records. We offer a competitive rate of up to £17.00 per hour, paid weekly, with 40 hours per week, overtime opportunities, and 21 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence is required.
• Competent in using an electronic device – laptop/tablet for data entry.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a team of 2 operating high specification jetting and vacuumation units.
• Conduct remote CCTV investigations to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.
• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems.
• Liaising with customers.
• Updating electronical records.
• Adhering to the company safety and compliance policies.

• Vehicle and Jetting Equipment checks and maintenance reporting.

Experience and qualifications required for the role:

• HGV Class 2 licence.
