Job summary

Blue Arrow is seeking an experienced HGV Fleet Technician to service, maintain and repair a diverse fleet from 3.5 to 26 tonnes. You will diagnose faults, perform planned maintenance and prepare vehicles for MOT testing to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.

A full UK driving licence and a proactive safety mindset are essential. Desirable qualifications include NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds, and PMI experience on refrigerated vehicles.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair commercial vehicles and HGVs.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and technical faults.
• Carry out planned maintenance and vehicle inspections.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and compliance checks.
• Ensure vehicles remain roadworthy and compliant with regulations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records.
• Liaise with external specialist contractors when required.
• Support continuous improvements to fleet performance and reliability.
