Job summary

BOC Limited is seeking a Time-served HGV Technician to maintain and repair mechanical and cryogenic systems across our fleet. You will ensure roadworthy vehicles, accurate record keeping in DAFcheck, and safe operations in line with DVSA and HSE requirements.

You will work within an inclusive workshop team, prioritising servicing and defect repairs, and coordinating with external contractors when needed. Ongoing training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Time-served HGV Technician with formal qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Proven fleet maintenance experience and ability to prioritise tasks within a small team.
• Strong servicing, safety inspections, diagnostics and defect rectification of ADR vehicles and trailers.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and defect maintenance to high standards while meeting DVSA and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate records in the DAFcheck system and ensure roadworthy sign-off.
• Coordinate with approved contractors for specialist services as required.
• Communicate with drivers and colleagues to support operations and service continuity.
