Job summary

AE Rowlands Plant hire and Haulage Ltd in North Wales is seeking a Qualified HGV Fitter to join a small, dynamic team. The role involves maintaining and repairing our HGV fleet, light vans and cars, with on-site and off-site work and early starts. Overtime is available and you may work independently.

The ideal candidate has a valid HGV Technician Qualification, a full UK driving licence, and strong diagnostic, fault-finding and safety skills. 50 hours per week and a varied schedule are expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and repairing the HGV fleet, light vans and cars.
• Responding to breakdowns and carrying out offsite repairs.
• Work with customers to meet deadlines and ensure 100% satisfaction.
• Carry out servicing and routine inspections on site or in the workshop.
• Record all work and order parts as required.
• Complete other duties when required.
