Job summary

IDrive Recruitment is seeking experienced Class 1 and Class 2 HGV Drivers to fill positions across Surrey, with day and night shift options Monday - Sunday. This is a varied driving role in a fast-growing agency working with Surrey's leading firms.

We require clean UK/EU licences with CPC and Tachograph Card, and verifiable references. You will perform vehicle inspections, follow dispatch instructions, and uphold safety standards to deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Hold a UK/EU driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Hold CPC qualification.
• Hold Tachograph Card.
• Provide verifiable references.
• Be reliable with strong timekeeping.
• Have experience operating Class 1 or Class 2 vehicles safely.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections per policy.
• Report safety issues using standard reports.
• Follow delivery schedules and interact with dispatchers to complete jobs.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Job description

We are currently seeking experienced Class 1 and Class 2 HGV Drivers to fill positions throughout Surrey. A range of jobs are available with both day and night shift options from Monday - Sunday.

You will need:

• Clean full UK or EU Driving Licence (no more than 6 points)
• Drivers Qualification Card (CPC)
• Drivers Tachograph Card
• Verifiable references
• Reliable and a good time keeper
• Experience of operating a Class 1 or Class 2 vehicle in a safe manner

Expectations:

• Confident Class 1 or Class 2 driver
• Able to perform a complete pre and post operation inspection of the vehicle as required by company policy checking tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in good working order.
• Able to report any safety issues on standard reports
• Able to follow instructions and the delivery schedule and confident to interact with dispatchers to complete the job to a high standard
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures

Pay rates

We are able to offer rates between £14-£18 depending on job available
