Job summary

IDrive Recruitment Ltd is seeking experienced Class 1 and Class 2 HGV drivers to fill positions across Buckinghamshire with day and night shifts from Monday to Sunday. Applicants should hold a clean UK licence (max 9 points), CPC and Tachograph Card, and have the right to work over 20 hours per week.

Successful candidates will perform pre- and post-operation inspections and liaise with dispatchers to meet delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• Clean UK driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• CPC (Driver Qualification Card) and Tachograph card.
• Right to work over 20 hours per week.
• Experience driving Class 1 or Class 2 vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Report safety issues using standard reports.
• Follow delivery schedules and instructions from dispatch.
• Communicate with dispatchers to complete jobs to a high standard.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Job description

We are currently seeking experienced Class 1 and Class 2 HGV Drivers to fill positions throughout Buckinghamshire. A range of jobs are available with both day and night shift options from Monday - Sunday.

You will need:

• Clean full UK Driving Licence (no more than 9 points)
• Drivers Qualification Card (CPC)
• Drivers Tachograph Card
• Right to work over 20 hours p/w
• Reliable and a good time keeper
• Experience of operating a Class 1 or Class 2 vehicle in a safe manner

Expectations:

• Confident Class 1 or Class 2 driver
• Able to perform a complete pre and post operation inspection of the vehicle as required by company policy checking tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in good working order.
• Able to report any safety issues on standard reports
• Able to follow instructions and the delivery schedule and confident to interact with dispatchers to complete the job to a high standard
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures

Pay rates

We are able to offer rates between £16-£20 depending on job available

We do not offer self employed work
