Job summary

IDrive Recruitment Ltd in Hampshire is seeking experienced Class 1 and Class 2 HGV drivers for a range of ongoing positions across Hampshire, with day and night shifts available from Monday to Sunday. Candidates must hold a clean UK licence with CPC and Tachograph Card, right to work over 20 hours per week, and proven safe driving of Class 1 or 2 vehicles.

Pre- and post-operation checks, adherence to schedules, and liaising with dispatch are essential.

Qualifications

• Tachograph Card
• Right to work over 20 hours p/w
• Reliable and a good time keeper
• Experience of operating Class 1 or Class 2 vehicle safely

Responsibilities

• Report safety issues on standard reports
• Follow delivery schedules and interact with dispatchers to complete jobs to a high standard

Job description

We are currently seeking experienced Class 1 and Class 2 HGV Drivers to fill positions throughout Hampshire. A range of jobs are available with both day and night shift options from Monday - Sunday.

You will need:

• Clean full UK Driving Licence (no more than 9 points)
• Drivers Qualification Card (CPC)
• Drivers Tachograph Card
• Right to work over 20 hours p/w
• Reliable and a good time keeper
• Experience of operating a Class 1 or Class 2 vehicle in a safe manner

Expectations:

• Confident Class 1 or Class 2 driver
• Able to perform a complete pre and post operation inspection of the vehicle as required by company policy checking tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in good working order.
• Able to report any safety issues on standard reports
• Able to follow instructions and the delivery schedule and confident to interact with dispatchers to complete the job to a high standard
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures

Pay rates

We are able to offer rates between £16-£20 depending on job available

We do not offer self employed work
