Job summary

IDrive Recruitment Ltd is seeking experienced Class 2 HGV drivers for Tonbridge. Multiple positions available with day and night shifts across a seven-day week. Roles involve multidrop work and adherence to delivery schedules.

Applicants must hold a valid UK licence with CPC and tachograph card, be available for over 20 hours per week, and demonstrate reliability and safe driving. Rates range from £16 to £20 per hour; self-employment is not offered.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections as required by policy

Job description

We are currently seeking experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers to fill positions throughout Tonbridge. A range of jobs are available with both day and night shift options from Monday - Sunday.

Multidrop

You will need:

• Clean full UK Driving Licence (no more than 9 points)
• Drivers Qualification Card (CPC)
• Drivers Tachograph Card
• Right to work over 20 hours p/w
• Reliable and a good time keeper
• Experience of operating a Class 1 or Class 2 vehicle in a safe manner

Expectations:

• Confident Class 1 or Class 2 driver
• Able to perform a complete pre and post operation inspection of the vehicle as required by company policy checking tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in good working order.
• Able to report any safety issues on standard reports
• Able to follow instructions and the delivery schedule and confident to interact with dispatchers to complete the job to a high standard
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures

Pay rates

We are able to offer rates between £16-£20 depending on job available

We do not offer self employed work
