Job summary

IDrive Recruitment Ltd is currently seeking HGV drivers for flexible, adhoc work in and around Arundel and the Crawley area. Applicants must hold a valid UK Driving Licence, CPC and Tacho cards, with reliable timekeeping and proven HGV experience.

You will perform vehicle inspections, follow schedules, and report safety issues in a timely manner. Pay rates start at £16 PAYE and £20 Umbrella, with typical shifts of 8 or 10 hours.

Qualifications

• Must hold UK Driving Licence and CPC Card.
• Tacho Card required.
• Reliable and a good timekeeper.
• Experience of operating a HGV safely.
• Confident with Class 1 and 2 driving.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle.
• Report safety issues using standard reports.
• Follow delivery schedules and liaise with dispatchers to complete jobs to a high standard.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

We are currently seeking HGV Drivers in and around Arundel for flexible and adhoc work.

• Experience of operating a HGV in safe manner

Expectations:

• Confident Class 1 and 2
• Able to perform a complete pre and post-operation inspection of the vehicle as required by company policy checking tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in good working order.
• Able to report any safety issues on standard reports
• Able to follow instructions and the delivery schedule and confident to interact with dispatchers to complete the job to a high standard
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures

£16 PAYE min

£20 UMBRELLA min

MIN 8 OR 10HRS
