Job summary

IDrive Recruitment is seeking HGV Drivers for flexible and ad-hoc work around Arundel in the United Kingdom. The role requires a valid UK driving licence, CPC and Tacho cards, and a reliable timekeeper with experience operating HGVs safely.

Expect to drive both Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles, conduct thorough vehicle inspections, and report safety issues using standard forms. Pay rates start at £16 PAYE and £20 Umbrella, with a minimum shift of 8 or 10 hours.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence and CPC/Tacho cards required.
• Experience driving HGV safely and following safety policies.
• Pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections as required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections as per policy.
• Report safety issues on standard reports.
• Follow delivery schedules and liaise with dispatchers to complete jobs to a high standard.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Job description

We are currently seeking HGV Drivers in and around Arundel for flexible and adhoc work.

You need:

• UK Driving Licence
• CPC Card
• Tacho Card
• Reliable and a good timekeeper
• Experience of operating a HGV in safe manner

Expectations:

• Confident Class 1 and 2
• Able to perform a complete pre and post-operation inspection of the vehicle as required by company policy checking tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in good working order.
• Able to report any safety issues on standard reports
• Able to follow instructions and the delivery schedule and confident to interact with dispatchers to complete the job to a high standard
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures

£20 UMBRELLA min
