Job summary

Idrive Recruitment Ltd in the Guildford area is seeking HGV Drivers for flexible and adhoc work around Guildford. This is ideal for drivers looking for varied shifts and ongoing opportunities.

You must have a UK Driving Licence, CPC Card and Tacho Card, plus a reliable timekeeper and safe HGV operation experience. Typical shifts include 8 or 10 hours, with PAYE or Umbrella pay options.

Qualifications

• UK Driving Licence, CPC Card and Tacho Card required.
• Reliable and a good timekeeper.
• Experience of operating a HGV safely.
• Confident Class 1/2/7.5 driver.

Responsibilities

• Interact with dispatchers to complete deliveries to a high standard.
• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections (tyre pressure, fluids, safety equipment, gauges and controls).
• Report safety issues on standard reports.
• Follow delivery schedules and safety policies and procedures.

Job description

We are currently seeking HGV Drivers in and around Guildford for flexible and adhoc work.

You need:

• UK Driving Licence
• CPC Card
• Tacho Card
• Reliable and a good timekeeper
• Experience of operating a HGV in safe manner

Expectations:

• Confident Class 1/2/7.5 driver
• Able to perform a complete pre and post-operation inspection of the vehicle as required by company policy checking tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in good working order.
• Able to report any safety issues on standard reports
• Able to follow instructions and the delivery schedule and confident to interact with dispatchers to complete the job to a high standard
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures

Pay rates

£16 PAYE min

£20 UMBRELLA min

MIN 8 OR 10HRS
