Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our client in the Sheffield area for HGV Drivers. Roles include HGV Class 1 and Class 2 with a 09:00 start and Monday to Friday shifts.

The position involves moving palletised parcels, 15-25 deliveries on return, and ensuring safe driving with accurate paperwork. Successful candidates will hold a full UK licence (Cat C/C&E), CPC and Tachograph cards, and must have no more than 6 points.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (Cat C/C&E).
• 6 months experience required.
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels.
• 15-25 bulk deliveries and collections on return.
• Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the roll cages from the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
• Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Sheffield area. We are looking for HGV Drivers to join the team.

Roles Available:

• HGV Class 1
• HGV Class 2

Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday

Start Time: 09:00am starts

Pay Rate: £15.36 per hour PAYE

Location: Sheffield, S25
