We are looking for a HGV Driver/Yard Operative to join us at Huws Gray Sandy!

If you’re in the trade or have ever tackled a home improvement project, you’ve probably heard of us. We’re the Huws Gray Group, made up of brands including Huws Gray, Hirebase, Civils & Lintels, The Timber Group, PDM, NDI, and Anglia Tool Centre. Our branches across the UK serve and support local communities with building materials, and we need the right people to help us continue this work.

Our HGV Drivers ensure our customers receive their products on time and in good condition. We focus on local deliveries, avoiding long-haul driving and late nights. Our Yard Operatives provide excellent service through knowledge of stock and ensuring products are ready for delivery and collection. Working in our branches, you'll be part of a team dedicated to great customer service and efficient operations.

Here’s what you can expect as a HGV Driver/Yard Operative at Huws Gray:

• Making deliveries to local customers, ensuring timely service
• Building strong relationships with customers and representing our brand
• Maintaining compliance with Health & Safety legislation (tachographs, training, delivery notes, etc.)
• Serving customers in the yard with product knowledge
• Maintaining your vehicle in line with legislation and company policies
