Job summary

Morgan Hunt is recruiting Winter Patrol Drivers for seasonal roles across Scotland to support winter road maintenance during the colder months.

Roles include driving HGV Class 2 vehicles, operating gritters and snow ploughs, and performing fittings and salt spreading as required. A flexible rota with potential overtime and night shifts is offered, with training provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence with LGV Class 2 entitlement.
• Desirable winter maintenance or roadworks experience; training provided.
• Flexible approach to shifts, standby and night working.

40 Hours 4 x on 4 x of - Overtime available.

The Role

• Working a flexible rota including night shifts, standby and weather-dependent overtime.
• Working outdoors in challenging weather conditions while following strict health & safety procedures.

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence with LGV Class 2 (Category C) entitlement.
• Previous winter maintenance or roadworking experience is desirable, but full training can be provided.
• Flexible approach to shifts, standby and night working.

These are fixed‑term seasonal positions, with potential opportunities for further seasonal work or longer-term employment for candidates who demonstrate commitment and reliability.
