Job summary

Selecta is seeking an on‑site HGV Driver / Installation Operative to safely transport, deliver, position and install vending machines across the UK. The role combines Class 1/2 driving with manual handling, customer service and on-site installation support.

You will be the first on-site contact, represent Selecta professionally and ensure a positive customer experience throughout delivery and installation. Training and development are provided as part of our technical development pathway.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) and/or Class 2 (Category C) 7.5T HGV licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience operating HGV vehicles safely and professionally.
• Experience in manual handling and physical delivery work.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Flexible approach to working hours and nationwide travel.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles per policy and road rules.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure deliveries are safe, efficient and on schedule.
• Deliver, manoeuvre and assist with vending machine installation.
• Carry out manual handling safely and use specialist equipment.
• Act as primary company representative on customer sites.
• Maintain safety, comply with health and safety procedures.
• Support route planning and coordinate with teams.
• Assist with collection and relocation of machines.
• Maintain equipment and vehicles in good condition.
