Job summary

Route Delivery Solutions (RDS) Ltd in Warrington is seeking Class 1 (C+E) drivers for night trunking roles. You will work evenings, with no loading or unloading, and you will be home after every shift.

A Digital Tachograph, CPC qualification, and CRB checks are required, along with UK right to work and no more than 3 points on your licence. You'll join a team offering a weekly bonus and pension, with 20 days holidays plus bank holidays and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence with no more than 3 points.
• Hold a Digital Tachograph and full CPC qualification.
• Pass a CRB background check and a Drugs & Alcohol test.
• Be able to work weekends and evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver trailers using route navigation to destinations.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report issues.
• Maintain daily electronic logs of routes and deliveries.
• No loading/unloading responsibilities; trailer swaps only.
• Approximately 3 swaps per shift with boxed trailers.

WHAT YOU NEED

• Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
• Hold a Digital Tachograph
• Full CPC qualification

• Must have right to work in the U.K
• Must have good working knowledge of EU drivers’ hours and regulations
• Your driver’s licence MUST have NO more than 3pts & NO pre-existing codes within 5 years - CD, IN, DD, TT, MS, DR

WHAT YOU ARE REQUIRED TO DO

• Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver trailers from pick up to destination
• Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify manager of any issues
• Maintain daily electronic logs to track routes and deliveries
• Driver is not required to assist with any loading or unloading
• Traction work only- drop/swap trailers. On average 3 swaps per shift, working with boxed trailers only
