Job summary

Route Delivery Solutions (RDS) Ltd in Warrington is seeking Class 1 HGV drivers for night trunking. You will operate modern fleet, perform pre‑shift checks, and ensure on‑time deliveries with a focus on safety and compliance.

We offer weekend work, a company pension after probation, 20 days plus bank holidays, and a supportive team. Applicants must have Class 1 (C+E), Digital Tachograph, CPC, and right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
• Hold a Digital Tachograph
• Full CPC qualification
• Must be able to pass a CRB background check
• Must be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol test
• Must be able to work weekends
• Must be able to work evening shifts
• Must have right to work in the U.K
• Must have good knowledge of EU drivers’ hours and regulations
• Your driver’s licence MUST have NO more than 3pts and NO pre-existing codes within 5 years - CD, IN, DD, TT, MS, DR

Responsibilities

• Use route navigation apps to deliver trailers from pickup to destination
• Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify manager of any issues
• Maintain daily electronic logs to track routes and deliveries
• Driver is not required to assist with loading or unloading
• Traction work only- drop/swap trailers; on average 3 swaps per shift with boxed trailers only
