Job summary

Connect Appointments is recruiting a HGV Class 1 Night Trunk Driver for ongoing work with an established logistics business based in Huddersfield.

The role offers Monday to Friday nights starting at 7pm, with shifts typically 8 to 12 hours, and weekly pay at £20.17 per hour including holiday pay.

To be considered you must hold a Class 1 licence with at least 1 year’s experience, CPC and Digital Tachograph cards, and a clean license (no specific endorsements).

Qualifications

• A valid Class 1 licence with a minimum of 1 year’s driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 for night trunk runs
• Shifts Monday to Friday with a 7pm start
• Shifts averaging 8 to 12 hours per day
• Maintain safe driving and compliance with regulations
