Job summary

Padstone Recruitment is seeking HGV Class 2 drivers for night shifts in Sittingbourne. Successful applicants will collect preloaded lorries from the depot, deliver to sites around Birmingham, and return to the Swale warehouse by 5am.

Rates are £20–£22 per hour (PAYE), paid weekly. Contract term is temporary with potential for permanent after 3 months for the right candidate; start by February preferred.

Job description

CLASS 2 HGV DRIVERS.

Padstone Recruitment require a number of HGV Class 2 drivers to work night shifts for our client based in Sittingbourne. Successful applicants must be available to work the following shifts:

Shift 1

8pm collect preloaded lorry from main depot in Sittingbourne, deliver goods to site around Birmingham. Return hgv to swale warehouse by 5am and finish shift.

Rate: £20-22 per hour paye, depending on experience

Pay: Weekly

Duration: Contract temp but could be perm after 3 months if successful and impress team.

Applicants must have their Class 2, a good attitude towards work and ideally available to start work by the beginning of February.
