Job summary

KPI Recruiting is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver for our client based in Birmingham (B24 9QJ). The role involves nationwide deliveries, loading/unloading, and potential overtime. Shifts available include morning, afternoon, and night with weekly pay and temp-to-perm opportunities.

Ideal candidates hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence, CPC, Digi, and HIAB licence; no IN/DD/DR endorsements. Pay is £16.36 per hour for days and £18.32 for nights, with holiday pay included.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence with CPC and Digi cards.
• No IN, DD or DR endorsements on licence.
• HIAB licence preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 2 vehicle across the UK to depots.
• Load and unload as required and handball when necessary.

Our client is a leading provider in the delivery industry within the UK, with state-of-the-art vehicles and services provided! Our client is looking to add to their pool of HGV Class 2 drivers as they continue to grow and expand their team.

Job description for a HGV Class 2 Driver:

• AD HOC or Shift work available
• Offering morning, afternoon, or Night shifts!
• £16.36 per hour
• Ongoing and temp-to-perm opportunities
• Average of 8-hour shifts
• Year-round positions
• Opportunity for overtime
• Drivers’ benefits include: weekly pay, additional shifts within KPI driving contacts available, use of state-of-the-art vehicles

Your role will include driving the HGV Class 2 vehicle across the country, delivering to different Depots across the UK. You will be required to load and unload when needed, so handball can be involved.

The ideal candidate for a Class 2 Driver will need the following:

• All up-to-date driving licence, CPC and Digi, along with HIAB licence
• No IN, DD, DR endorsements on licence
• Hi-vis and safety boots

Rates for a Class 2 Driver(PAYE) –

£16.36 per hour days

£18.32 per hour nights

Please note pay rates are inclusive of accrued holiday pay.
