Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Night Driver for a trunking role based in Sittingbourne. You will complete double decker curtain side runs to Birmingham and back, delivering palletised freight for Palletways.

The role offers a 19:00 start, 8–10 hour night shifts, and immediate starts with well-maintained vehicles and a supportive transport team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving experience.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements).
• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Complete a double decker curtain side trunking run from Sittingbourne to Birmingham and back.
• Transport palletised freight for Palletways with minimal manual handling, focusing on safe driving.
