Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our client in the Winwick area for multiple HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Night Drivers. New passes welcome, with shifts Sunday to Friday and occasional Saturdays.

Start times range from 22:00 to 23:59. Rate: Class 1 £16.56 per hour PAYE rising to £17.26 after 12 weeks; Class 2 £15.56 rising to £16.35 after 12 weeks. Ongoing role with a potential for permanent placement for the right driver.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) entitlement.
• Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills and a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Securely move and transport palletised parcels to couriers or collect them from delivery units.
• Handle runs with a focus on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck when required.
• Interact with customers and represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Winwick area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 and HGV Class 2 Night Drivers to join the team.

New Passes Welcome!

Shifts: Shifts run across Sunday to Friday (occasional Saturday) drivers must be available to work Sundays and Fridays.

Hours: Between 22:00pm - 23:59pm starts

Pay Rates:

• Class 1: £16.56 per hour PAYE, rising to £17.26 after 12 weeks
• Class 2: £15.56 per hour PAYE, rising to £16.35 after 12 weeks

Location: Winwick, WA2
