Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a HGV Driver Mentor/Assessor at the Belle Eau Park Facility near Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire. You will support the Transport Manager with employment and annual assessments, ensuring new drivers are competent with vehicles, equipment, and depot procedures.

Hours vary with training duties; site operates 24/7. Role includes mentoring on-road with vehicle handling, tachograph compliance, and reporting on assessments and onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified HGV Class 1 driver with a valid CPC.
• Clean driving licence.
• Excellent Tachograph infringement record.
• Excellent incident record.
• Experience of mentoring advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive a HGV vehicle to complete daily driving functions safely and accurately per H&S procedures.
• Assist with new driver interview assessments.
• Carry out on-the-road employment and annual driver assessments.
• Mentor new drivers on-road with vehicle, trailer, and equipment familiarisation.
• Familiarise drivers with new equipment and tachograph usage.
• Complete assessment reports for onboarding or retraining.
