Job summary

Lineage Logistics is hiring a HGV Driver Mentor/Assessor at our Belle Eau Park Facility near Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire. You will support the Transport Manager with employment and annual assessments, ensuring new drivers are competent and familiar with vehicles and depot procedures.

The role involves variable hours, some night/weekend work, and a 24/7 operation. They offer a permanent position with development opportunities across a global company.

Qualifications

• Must hold HGV Class 1 licence with valid CPC.
• Clean driving licence.
• Excellent Tachograph record.
• Experience mentoring drivers advantageous.
• Able to communicate suggestions to Transport Management.
• Able to work without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV vehicle and complete daily driving functions safely and in line with procedures.
• Assist with new driver interviews and on-road assessments.
• Carry out employment and annual driver assessments.
• Conduct post-incident assessments as required.
• Mentor new drivers on road and with equipment familiarisation.
• Ensure tachograph compliance and usage; complete assessments and onboarding reports.
