Job summary

SUEZ in Poole is recruiting an experienced LGV Driver with a Class 2 licence and CPC card to collect Industrial and Commercial waste and recycling from customers. You will deliver a high standard of service while adhering to health and safety rules and company policies.

The role is based in Poole, 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with early start times and overtime on Saturdays as required. Full PPE provided and company benefits apply.

Qualifications

• LGV Class 2 license and CPC card essential.
• Experience in waste industry desirable but not essential.
• Experience with recycling vehicles preferred but training will be given.

About The Role

Location: Poole, Dorset

• Salary £36,042.37 per annual / £15.35 per hour
• Working 45 hours per week
• Monday - Friday
• Start times: 04:00 am - 13:45 pm
• Overtime is expected, every Saturday in 4 depending on the needs of the business
• You will be expected to work Bank holidays except Over Christmas and new Year
• You will be driving multiple Trucks so flexibility is required

What will I be doing?

The role will involve the driving and operation of vehicles collecting Industrial and Commercial waste and recycling from our customers, delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with our customer’s Health and Safety rules as well as our own at all times.

What are the requirements?

You must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team, delivering a high level of customer service.

The Role Also Requires:

An LGV Class 2 license as well as a CPC card are essential.

Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable though not essential.

Experience of working with recycling vehicles, roll on roll off containers, is preferred but not essential as training will be given where necessary.
