Job summary

SUEZ is seeking a driven driver to operate and drive our waste collection fleet in the Preston area. You will collect Industrial and Commercial waste and recycling from customers while upholding a high standard of service and adherence to safety rules.

The role requires an LGV Class 2 licence and a CPC card, with training provided where needed. You will be part of a supportive team dedicated to reliable, environmentally responsible waste management.

Qualifications

• LGV Class 2 licence and CPC card are essential.
• Experience in the waste industry is desirable but not required.
• Willingness to work as part of a hardworking team delivering high levels of customer service.

What will I be doing?

The role will involve the driving and operation of vehicles collecting Industrial and Commercialwaste and recycling from our customers, delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with our customer’s Health and Safety rules as well as our own at all times.

What are the requirements?

You must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team, delivering a high level of customer service.

The role also requires:

• An LGV Class 2 license as well as a CPC card are essential.
• Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable though not essential.
• Experience of working with recycling vehicles,roll on roll off containers, is preferred but not essential as training will be given where necessary.
