Job summary

Veolia Environmental Services (Uk) Plc is seeking a HGV Driver/Loader at Dover Depot in Kent. The role involves driving to collection points, loading recycling and domestic waste, and performing daily vehicle checks using onboard systems.

You will work with a team to ensure accurate daily records and adhere to safety and contractual obligations. The position offers 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a pay of £36,917.24 and benefits including generous annual leave, pension, health

• HGV driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and load recycling and domestic waste into the vehicle.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and use onboard tech to record notes.
• Comply with traffic laws and keep the work environment safe and clean.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure daily information is captured from onboard systems.
• Ensure contractual obligations are met, including cleaning up any spillages.

What you'll be doing; Driving to planned collection locations and loading recycling and domestic waste into the vehicle. Complete daily checks of the vehicle and use the onboard technology to complete work notes. Comply with all traffic laws and legislation and ensure their work environment is safe and clean at all times. Working closely with your team to ensure that all-round information is completed daily from your onboard service. Ensuring that Veolia complies with their contractual obligations e.g. any spillages are cleaned up. What we're looking for; Essential: HGV Driving Licence An up-to-date CPC / DIGI card. Ability to work well as a team member, with excellent communication skills. Strong time management
