Job summary

Veolia Environmental Services (Uk) Plc is recruiting a driver to join our UK fleet. You will drive to planned collection locations, load recycling and domestic waste, and perform daily vehicle checks using onboard technology to log work notes.

The role requires a current HGV driving licence, up-to-date CPC/DIGI card, and strong teamwork and time-management skills. Desirable experience in waste is advantageous, with a comprehensive benefits package on offer.

Responsibilities

• Driving to planned collection locations and loading recycling and domestic waste into the vehicle.
• Complete daily checks of the vehicle and use the onboard technology to complete work notes.
• Comply with all traffic laws and legislation and ensure their work environment is safe and clean at all times.
• Working closely with your team to ensure that all-round information is completed daily from your onboard service.
• Ensuring that Veolia complies with their contractual obligations e.g. any spillages are cleaned up.
