Explore Transport Limited is recruiting drivers for a Monday-to-Friday schedule. The role offers an hourly base rate, rising with service and experience, plus a night-rate for hours 6pm–6am. You will read maps, navigate efficiently, and ensure secure loading while maintaining high safety standards on construction logistics routes.

The position includes ongoing CPC hours training, career progression opportunities, and competitive allowances. Full PPE is provided and breaks are paid.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with flatbed operations preferred.
• Ability to read maps and use GPS navigation effectively.
• Strong organisation and time management to meet deadlines.
• Securely load and unload with proper securing techniques.
• Adhere to traffic laws and road safety standards.
• Construction logistics knowledge is a plus.
• Good communication with colleagues and customers.

Explore are a FORS Gold accredited specialist supplier of Transport services to a wide range of industries including construction, rail and aerospace.

We strive to be the industry leader and deliver best in class levels of safety, service, and efficiency. Our Transport division combines over 50 years of construction logistics and haulage expertise.

We are currently recruiting for drivers to join our team on the following shift pattern - Monday to Friday.

Hourly Rate: £13.50 basic rate (rising to £14.00 after 18 months and £14.50 after 36 months), £14.50 night rate (hours between 6pm and 6am)

Skills/Knowledge

• Flatbed experience (preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret maps and use GPS navigation systems effectively
• Strong organisational and time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
• Load and unload securely and efficiently, ensuring proper securing techniques are applied
• Adhere to all traffic laws, road regulations and road safety standards while operating the vehicle
• Have construction logistics knowledge /experience (preferred)
• Have good communication skills to quickly understand instructions including movement orders and liaise effectively with colleagues and customers

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence
• C+E Licence
• Valid CPC & tacho card
