Job summary

A2z Employment Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Driver to join our fleet and help with UK-wide deliveries, including London. You will be responsible for safe loading, route adherence, and customer-facing duties with a focus on reliability and quality service.

The role features a Monday to Friday schedule with optional weekend work and overtime opportunities. A dedicated vehicle will be provided and nights out may be required on some contracts, with allowances available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience securing loads on flatbed vehicles using straps, ratchets, and chains.
• Able to navigate a route network including London and key UK cities.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGVs in line with traffic regulations.
• Deliver and offload goods ensuring proper load security.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and pre-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and liaise with dispatch.
