Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking an HGV Driver Plant and MEWP Load/Unload in Swindon to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites while consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations. You will operate commercial vehicles, check roadworthiness before journeys, and safely load and unload rental and heavy equipment.

You will visit customer locations, communicate with customers, and ensure compliance with legal and company safety rules, including the working time

Qualifications

• Minimum of driving license category C with no more than 6 points.
• CPC certification is required.
• Tachograph card.
• Proactive safety attitude.
• Polite when visiting customer premises.
• Good geographical knowledge and industry experience (desirable).
• Ability to use IT systems (desirable).
• FORS compliant (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods.
• Ensure the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before journeys, and safely load/unload the vehicle load.
• Load and unload rental, electrical and powered access equipment including heavy plant.
• Visit customer locations, communicating with internal and external customers.
• Ensure that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all times.

• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all time
