Job summary

AGM Bishop’s Move based in Crawley is seeking an experienced HGV Driver (Class 2) to join our removals team. You will transport customers’ possessions safely and deliver a high-quality service.

This permanent, full-time role offers a salary up to £45,000, 45 hours weekly, a pension, life assurance and other staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Essential full UK HGV Class 2 licence (max 6 points) and CPC licence.
• Proven HGV driving experience and excellent customer service.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
• Desirable: removals experience and multilingual skills.
• Pre-employment checks including DBS, identity and right to work verification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional and courteous conduct at all times.
• Operate a commercial HGV vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Check vehicle loads comply with Road Traffic Legislation.
• Complete vehicle and delivery paperwork accurately.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and Safe Systems of Work.
• Maintain CPC training requirements.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Support continuous improvement and development.
• Any other duties as may be requested by Management.

We are now looking for an experienced HGV Driver (Class 2) to join our growing team based in Crawley.

HGV Driver (Class 2) will be responsible for safely transporting and handling customers’ household and personal possessions, delivering a high-quality, professional removals service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain professional and courteous conduct at all times
• Operate a commercial HGV vehicle safely and responsibly
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Check all vehicle loads comply with the requirements of Road Traffic Legislation
• Complete all vehicle and delivery paperwork accurately

• Work both independently and as part of a team
• Support continuous improvement and development
• Any other duties as may be requested by Management
