TradeChoice Carpet & Flooring is seeking an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join our Transport Team in the United Kingdom. The role involves delivering goods between branches to support customers with available products and excellent service.

Key duties include deliveries and collections, supervising loading/unloading, ensuring loads match orders, checking goods-off with customers, and reporting any issues to Operations or Sales.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driving licence (C) with a clean driving record.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical loading/unloading tasks.
• Good knowledge of UK geography.

Responsabilités

We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our Transport Team.

You will be responsible for delivering goods between our branches to enable us to supply our fellow customers with available products and an excellent service.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out deliveries and collections between our UK branches
• Supervise the safe loading/unloading of goods about the vehicle
• Ensure the load is correct and in keeping with customers' orders
• Check goods-off with customers and obtain signature and print
• Flag any errors and consult with Operations Manager or Sales team accordingly
• Valid commercial driving licence (C) with a clean driving record.
• Valid Driver CPC
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.
• Good UK geographical knowledge
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
