Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking a capable HGV Driver Operator to join our team, ensuring timely collections and deliveries from customer sites while meeting customer expectations.

You will operate commercial vehicles, perform safety checks, load/unload, assist with on-site equipment installation, and maintain professional communications with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Operating commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
• Operating plant or machinery attached or loaded onto the vehicle, and installing equipment on customer sites
• Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all times
