Job summary

GAP Group Limited is seeking an experienced HGV Driver with HIAB to join our Non-Mechanical division. You will load, deliver and collect hire equipment to customer sites, demonstrate equipment when required and complete checks and admin tasks.

A Class 2 licence and Driver CPC with 35 hours, plus a HIAB licence preferred, are required, with full training available. You will ensure safe, timely deliveries, maintain high standards of customer service and follow Health & Safety protocols on every

Qualifications

• Significant experience working in an HGV driving role loading, delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites.
• Class 2 driving licence, Driver CPC with a minimum of 35 hours completed and a valid Digital Tachograph card.
• HIAB licence preferred; full training will be provided.
• Understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, timely delivery of equipment to customer sites, demonstrate equipment when required, complete all necessary checks and administrative duties, and provide excellent customer service throughout the process.
• Signpost and support customers as required and maintain professional conduct on site.

About the role

We're looking for an HGV Driver with HIAB to join our Non‑Mechanical division which offers the latest, industry‑leading Non‑Mechanical equipment including pedestrian and crowd control barriers, temporary security fencing, trench boxes, bog‑mats, magnetic rail barriers, road plates and more. The duties of the HGV Driver with HIAB will include loading, delivering and collecting hire equipment to and from customer sites in a timely and professional manner, demonstrating equipment when required, and completing any relevant checks and administrative tasks involved for the hire.
