Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking a skilled HGV Driver to join our team in delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites. You will play a key role in ensuring timely, accurate deliveries while upholding safety standards.

You will operate commercial vehicles, conduct safety checks, load and unload trakway on site, and liaise with customers to keep operations running smoothly. The role offers real living wage, development opportunities, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV licence and CPC.
• Experience in loading/unloading cargo.
• Strong focus on safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods.
• Ensure the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing journeys, including safe loading/unloading of cargo.
• Visit customer locations and communicate with internal and external customers.
• Load, unload and install trakway on customer sites.
• Ensure compliance with legal and company safety requirements and working time regulations.

What will you be doing?

• Operating commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
