Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Avonmouth is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to support on-site operations with safe, efficient deliveries and timely offloads. The role is permanent full-time with Tue–Sat shifts from 04:00 to 08:00.

You will perform daily vehicle checks, follow Driver Hours and Highway Code requirements, and assist with manual handling of goods. We offer free parking, an on-site canteen, a pension with employer contribution, 24/7 GP, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 3 months Class 1 driving experience is required.

• Drive in a safe, efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Deliver to storefronts and offload roller cages.
• Comply with health and safety standards and The Highway Code.
• Regular completion of vehicle checks.

Shift patterns: Tuesday - Saturday - 0400 - 0800am start time
Location: SWROC Avonmouth, BS35 4DF

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• You will be delivering to various storefronts which will be offloading roller cages
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• You will have minimum 3 months class 1 driving experience as this is essential
• Happy to fulfill a multidrop role working for multiple companies on site
