Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking HGV drivers to support our logistics operations, delivering goods safely and on time. The role is based in Stoke-on-Trent with 7 out of 14 shifts and multi-drop routes across various locations.

You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 or 2 licence (C or C+E), Driver CPC, and a tachograph card. New passes welcome, with overtime opportunities and a discretionary yearly bonus. The position is permanent and full-time.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 or 2 Licence (C or C+E) with Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• New passes welcome; previous experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive.
• Comply with health and safety standards and The Highway Code.
• Carry out regular vehicle checks and manual handling of goods.
• Perform multi-drop deliveries (4–14 per day).
• Deliver goods to stores and forecourts; work on a 7 on/7 off pattern over 14 days.

Job description

Pay Rate: £36,892.78 plus a discretionary yearly bonus of £2600.00 + any overtime. Grade: Collective Agreement. Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time). Shift patterns: Any 7 out of 14 (3 days one week and 4 the next (Saturday included in the 4 day shift). Location: Stoke On Trent ST4.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products
• Multi-drop deliveries 4-14 a day
• delivering food to stores and petrol forecourts
• Only work 7 out of 14 days

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
