Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Tamworth is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to join our team and ensure goods are delivered safely and on time. This permanent, full-time role offers a night shift pattern (Mon-Fri, 21:00–Midnight) with a competitive pay rate plus shift premium and overtime.

Key duties include safe driving under Driver Hours regulations, adherence to health and safety standards, regular vehicle checks and RDC deliveries 1–2 per day. Experience is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally have 6–12 months recent driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive.
• Comply with health and safety standards and The Highway Code.
• Carry out regular vehicle checks.
• RDC deliveries 1–2 times per day.

• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• RDC deliveries 1-2 a day
